In these strange and unprecedented times, I consider myself extremely lucky to be living in a rural location. My kitchen window overlooks the lush countryside of mid Devon and our garden is full of birds. One bird that I never see, but always hear at night, is the owl.
I was inspired to imagine my own shy little owl. Although these times are hard for many, nature can bring comfort and calm into our lives if we take a moment to look or listen.

CAPED CRUSADERS - Not all heroes wear capes. at times like this, fear and anxiety is a reality of our everyday life, However there are Heroes that are continuing to care for us and do the things we need, putting themselves and their families at risk to ensure our safety. We salute and thank you for your bravery and the difference you are making to people’s lives.
NHS HEROES - Doctors & Nurses, Midwives & Paramedics to the GPs, Carers & Social Services - these are just a few of the heroes who are battling adversity each and every day to help us all when we’re at our most vulnerable. The NHS, and the incredible professionals who work in hospitals, GP surgeries, clinics, care homes and many more. They have children at home to care for, vulnerable parents and relatives to consider, underlying health conditions to protect and still they are going above and beyond.
